I know I am not parent or had kids of my own.  I am speak for others.  Okay, I stand and listen to all parents chat about signing for babies when young can not speak normal, just baby talk.   Many times, I had seen and heard about hearing babies use the sign language to speak and they practice to use pronounced when beome older.   I also found out that deaf babies not allow to use sign language and why?   I really not know and wish have some research about it.  There must have a reason why and hearing babies has been signing but not deaf babies.
