“where did you buy?” Within laughing! WITH LAUGHING? She should be shit! Of course she is hearing and dumb. I mean not deaf and dumb. Hearing and dumb. Yeah I am paying back!

Don’t mess with deaf! My answer was “purple onion” No I should have answered, “duh? Where did you that joke from?” It is not joke to ask that kind question.

That kind of handle of person tell people who you are? You felt insulted. Insulted? Imagine this. I was trying to order the meal and my co worker tell the cashier that “she is deaf” I turned to her and the cashier. I would drop the order because felt it is not nice to say when I tried to order the meal.

Well she try to be nice tell the cashier….could be right….can be wrong.

If you tell people that person is mentally challenged or legal blind? How do you feel about that?

Yes. Yes, we all are talking to ourselves. You are not only one. I know there is good things and bad things. I always talking all the time to myself and of course to others If possible. Lot of time I signed and think I am talk to them! Lol. They not ever know sign language. Smiles!

let’s start here. Many times I heard from people told stories about their experiences with bishops or priests who think they are GOD. Deaf people always been frustrated by their families for cure to be hear again. Well, look whatever they were deaf at birth and no way to heal cure to be hearing. If want cure then make them to be hearing to put cochlear implant. No I not mean to be rude but humor saying. Many of us called CI as robots.

Many of deaf dislike wearing hearing aides because they think they not need hear so deaf is peace…no noises. Not sure how many deaf people wore HA? I sees some of them wore like me. I raised the experience with eyes and hearing.

Elders does loss the hearing and wore hearing aides. Not meant they are deaf like us. They just lost their hearing but experience more than us. We, deaf experience without hearing in our life. One person who is DJ and profoundly deaf. He does DJ like hearing person, he raised practically listened all the time and aware on rhythm over and over til get it. Same thing with hard of hearing listen the words and speak. Many deaf has different experiences in their life.

Me? Hearing lot of sounds and not much on words. I speak whisper so no one understands me. I played sports like normal and dances. Musical. Science-based words. Lip reader. Can’t think anymore.

Ask me if I got cochlear implants. My answer is unfortunately can’t have the surgery success. If happen, I would put it on my right ear. Why right ear is because it is profound deaf. My left ear is starting loss hearing.

Okay, let’s say repeat about deafness is possible for being deaf. Few causes: earwax builds up, generating disabilities, generating deaf families, illnesses and loss hearing in late bloom.

Me? Unknown. Born as normal but deaf. Our family guessed disabilities in the family.

no! I been in public school those years but called myself mainstreamed school? I learned that mainstreamed school meant special education? Whoa! go back. Sigh. Yes I am deaf and normal student with better IQ. Look back, in the small town, I actually in hearing classes without sign language interpreter when kid and also had deaf kids class within all ages in one room. When about 6, went to University of Montevallo for couple years for some special needs. I moved north of Alabama and went to go public school in deaf 3rd grade and found out I only know my name. No idea what class is about!?! Pulled me back to deaf kindergarten when I was 8! I re-learn till get to my normal level and moved to Texas, went to the hearing 3rd grade with sign language interpreter when I was 11! Yup, I went through all in hearing classes in elementary school year. In middle school years, I took science and math in hearing classes so took others in deaf classes. In high school, I took science, history and math…..English in hearing classes. Tricky, I put English out and in deaf classes too! I know I took of adventure. I am highest IQ for deaf classes so I had to tutoring all deaf students in English, science and math.

Okay. Let’s say here short and sweet. I was trying make comments you know. Well I would use my sign language to talk and people could call that “throw their arms up” like crazy. Probably can be weird to them.

I wanted to tell you two different words means and may add other word.

Frustration is my forever issue because of those people never learn to make communication or work together. It always frustrating me. If people know me and know how to make communication and work together then I would be very great attitude! LOL I know I am funny and easy to hang with. Those people was just do their side and their think. There is no excuse.

Temper is out of order. People are dumb enough to think those deafies always been temper. Us? Deaf? No, that is not true. Frustration is right word for us, deafies. If they do the easy anger then that is temper but short time. Not meant forever! Those people not learn that either. Temper is temper.

Panic is everyone’s best friend. No one know it does look like frustration or anger signal to face people. I have anxiety each time they talk to me and I become panic due by trying to understand, felt like sweaty or started can’t breath good.

Sensitive is everyone’s enemy. They have different individual of their sensitive sides. It could be animals, foods, OCD, smelling, touching, or taste. You name it.

Many months I come by and was “hear” with hearing person can sign language. One guy come to us and asking many odd questions that was so obviously to me. We stand there and listen to his comments on deaf and hearing side.

Okay, back to beginning when I met that guy and I saw his cochlear implant. He is obvious not make any sense but keep going. He asked many odd questions for months so this time I becomes fed up with him. I am pretty sure those people had been fed up too. We all patience with him asking those questions which clear to us. He is HEARING person, not deaf. Why?

Let’s tell you little bit on him. He is in somewhere level job he work. (not ask him that question because his disagreement with us) He been in deaf school all his life and went to University in New York that has deaf program there. He got his CI not that long ago….maybe about couple years ago or so.

Okay, now. One question for you. Why do those deaf people not want him to be social with them? Answer is…. He is one who has been distance from deaf. Okay, Other question for you. Which is best for him to social in deaf or hearing? Answer is….He been distance from deaf people. Both are easy! He think he is HEARING. He always stay distance from us and alone. He speaks that he is not interesting social with deaf people. BINGO!

One question he asked that I would laugh. What does my voice sound to you? (He asked one interpreter and I was stand front of them) She (interpreter) answered, Your voice is not normal like hearing. (I said AMEN) He becomes not satisfied with that answer so too bad. Our accents are varied with different sounds on volume.

Okay, my question for you. Why he keep coming to us? Is he lonely? Is he confused by hearing or deaf? What make him decide on CI and what is his goal? What is your opinion on CI?

Two of them are same kind of person who has hearing loss. One person had it and other person not choose it. Two people go to work in same place but has different title. CI person been through the journey by deaf to able to hear and training to speak on own voice. Non CI person does not have been in the journey like CI, normal for them being deaf. Many people at work are impressed on CI worker and move to promotes job. Non CI person stuck with same title in lifetime.

Non CI person received the University degrees and hopefully have better career. It comes back as same title, can not promotes anymore. The title is requires Call as Customer Service, Talk as converse with others, and conference. It is hard for Non CI person to received that facts and can’t reaches where they wanted.

This title was tricky thing to say because I been seen all among people who does not know any sign language. They always think we are doing the gang signs. OUCH! No one understands us. We are NOT gang, we are signing our universal language to make communications each other like you do the French or Spanish. We does not understand you saying so those fore you do not understand us signing. That.

I have seen gang signs too and not understand them either! That is true because we did not sign like that. If you seen one, then think twice they are gang. If you seen deaf or sign language person, then think twice they are talking.

Happen to me all the time. They could get angry with me for misunderstanding conversion with so got frustrated with them so easy. I still wish they would understand me instead of think of me like gang signs. No Shit! Excuse my language.
