Today, I was sitting with my friend who is sign language interpreter for lunch. He explains to me about laws and business requirements. He said the deaf looking for free interpreter and he refused receive free requirements because it is against the policy. I told him that deaf looking at interpreters as close friends for free. He kept saying NO. I said YES. I see my experience with them look at interpreters as close friends so they can call them to interpreter at doctors or case at court for free because acting like close friends. I know a lot of interpreters are not close friends like the deaf think that way.

Sign Language Interpreters is job to working with the deaf community and accessible on the communication for the deaf. Not meant to be expect the interpreter to be their close friends. When interpreting is off duty then can be friend and social.

One of my friends who is deaf, and her sister is SODA (Sibling of the DEAF Adult). I know when she is interpreting and keep the job inside then we went outside of building, we start social because she is off duty. Not meant free interpreting.

Many buildings rejected the sign language interpreters because of paying and not following their policy regarding. That causes struggled with. All deaf people start to fusses about not have interpreters and wanted free interpreters who are their close friends who is actually is! All free interpreters prefer to be paid and working, not for FREE.
